After yesterdays hectic sail at Point Clear - 7m sail with winds gusting 25 mph + it was nice to have a relaxing start to the day even our son and his girlfriend woke the whole road at 6 this morning loading the car to do their first car boot sail !!! they made £80 so were pleased:) I had a nice morning enjoying the sunshine in our back garden reading my book, then at midday we picked up my repaired traiter wheel and headed to Lidl to do the weekly shop before checking the wind situation ??? The wind had filled in and switched from offshore to the south, so after a top roll I headed down, arriving just before me was Mark Smalling, then Ian,Steve and Andy turned up :) The wind was strong at this point 23 kts on the gauge so went for a small sail, my lightning 6.5 which is a nice sail to use but was underpowered, I had a few good runs out to the red bouy gybing in some nice swells. I then beat towards The Fludgers but the wind wint really light so I returned to the van and rigged 7.8 which was okay but still underpowered but still cool to be out in the sunshine :)
